Research summary

  • Dr. Tzoulaki is a population health scientist with extensive expertise in molecular epidemiology and track record on precision medicine and prediction models. She has a particular interest in the role of environmental and genetic factors in relation to cardiometabolic diseases and neurodegenerative diseases. She has led large consortia funded by the EC and US NIH as PI and contributes as expert and advisor in several organisms including the European Food and Safety Authority. She has considerable experience in the design, conduct and management of large, international biobanking efforts.
