Dr. Lekka’s research interests include ab initio/semi – ab initio (LAPW, DFT, NRLTB) and classical molecular dynamic calculations to study the:
(i) Atomic and electronic structure as well as mechanical properties of biomaterials,
(ii) Electronic and magnetic properties of nanoclusters,
(iii) Structural, vibrational, mechanical and diffusion properties of metals and their alloys.
